Óscar Hahn y la renovación del soneto

Resumen

En el espectro cromático de la literatura chilena, la figura de Óscar Hahn representa un tono singular intermedio entre la Generación del 50 y la Generación Trilce. Escritor experimental, inconforme con la inmovilidad literaria, como los de todas las promociones poéticas surgidas del posmodernismo reflexivo entre la tradición y su ruptura, Hahn va del pasado a su presente literario sin cerrar la puerta al uso de la forma fija de poema más seductora: el soneto. El breve estudio de su poemario Estrellas fijas en un cielo blanco (1989) muestra la limpieza conseguida por un poeta que ha sabido amalgamar las reglas del arte aurisecular con las propuestas surgidas de las revoluciones literarias del Medio Siglo latinoamericano.

In the chromatic spectrum of Chilean literature, the figure of Óscar Hahn represents a singular intermediate tone between the Generation of 50 and the Trilce Generation. An experimental writer, dissatisfied with literary immobility, like those of all the poetic promotions that emerged from reflective postmodernism between tradition and its rupture, Hahn goes from the past to his literary present without closing the door on the use of the most seductive fixed form of poem: the sonnet. A brief study of his collection of poems (Estrellas fijas en un cielo blanco, 1989) shows the purity achieved by a poet who has known how to amalgamate the rules of aurisecular art with the proposals that emerged from the literary revolutions of the Latin American Mid-Century.
